Antifreeze for Subaru Forester
The Forester is one of the most common Subarus in Georgia, and one of the most frequently brought in with the words “it ran a bit hot”. The boxer's head gaskets sit at the lowest point of the system, permanently submerged in coolant, so fluid quality here translates directly into engine life.

Photographs come from the manufacturer's official materials.
Cooling system volume (litres) roughly six to eight litres
EJ25 and FB25 share the same weakness
The older EJ25 became famous for external head-gasket seepage. The newer FB25 is better in that respect, but both are all-aluminium and both are protected by the same thing, the inhibitor package in the coolant.
When those inhibitors are exhausted, typically after four or five years and far sooner if fluids have been mixed, the aluminium is left unprotected. On the Zerex Asian Blue data sheet, aluminium weight loss in the ASTM D1384 test is 0 mg against an allowance of 30 mg.
How much you will need
A Forester cooling system typically holds six to eight litres depending on generation and engine. The exact figure is in your car's manual.
One bottle of concentrate, 3.78 litres, diluted 50/50 yields 7.5 litres of ready-to-use coolant, which covers a full fill in most cases. If you are doing a complete flush and want margin, take two.
