Antifreeze for Acura
The Acura MDX, RDX, TSX and TL are all Honda platforms, and the cooling-system requirement is identical: a blue, silicate-free, phosphated HOAT. The entry on Valvoline's data sheet covers both explicitly, “Honda/Acura”.

Photographs come from the manufacturer's official materials.
US-imported Acuras and one common problem
Most Acuras in Georgia came through US auctions. Many went years either without service or topped up with whatever was to hand, frequently an orange Dex-Cool type or a yellow “universal” fluid.
If the fluid in the reservoir looks murky or brown, or something is floating on the surface, that is a sign of exhausted inhibitors or mixed chemistries. Topping up will not help, and the system needs a complete flush.
V6 engines and aluminium
Acura's J-series V6 engines are all-aluminium and have two cylinder heads, which means twice the gaskets and twice the coolant passages of an inline four.
The aluminium protection figures from the Zerex Asian Blue data sheet read as follows: in the ASTM D1384 test aluminium weight loss was 0 mg where the limit allows up to 30 mg, and in the hot-surface test (D4340) 0.1 mg/cm²/week against a limit of 1.0.
