Antifreeze for the Mitsubishi Delica
The Delica reaches Georgia straight from Japan and is often twenty years old. Its cooling system is larger than a saloon's, because the coolant also travels to a heater core at the back of the cabin. Mitsubishi's specification ES 64-217 is printed directly on the Valvoline Zerex Asian Blue data sheet.

Photographs come from the manufacturer's official materials.
Cooling system volume (litres) roughly seven to nine litres including the rear heater
Long pipes and trapped air
The pipes running to the rear heater cross the full length of the vehicle. That has two practical consequences.
First, the volume is large. With the rear circuit the system holds seven to nine litres, so a full fill takes two bottles of concentrate.
Second, air is hard to bleed. Long, bent pipes trap pockets easily. When flushing and refilling, both the front and the rear heater must be running on maximum, otherwise part of the system stays outside the process.
A trapped pocket does not only cause local overheating. It can also settle near the temperature sensor, and then the gauge reads normal while the engine is already boiling.
The diesel D5 and ES 64-217
Some Delica D5s arrive with the 4N14 diesel. That is a passenger-car diesel and our product suits it, since Mitsubishi's ES 64-217 specification is named on the data sheet.
One caveat remains. Valvoline Zerex Asian Blue is nitrite-free, so it does not carry wet-liner cavitation protection. A passenger diesel does not need it, but if your manual states that requirement, call us before ordering.
