Coolant for Tesla Model X

The Model X is built on the Model S platform and uses the same fluid: G-48 type ethylene glycol, phosphate and nitrate free. That is written in Tesla's Model X service manual, in the same words as for the other models.

Cooling system volume (litres) depends on version, we confirm by VIN

How much you will need

We could not find the Model X system capacity in Tesla's public manual, and we will not make a figure up. Call us with the VIN and we will confirm it.

A fill from dry is done through a Toolbox routine with a vacuum refill tool, so it is a workshop job. When a pump, radiator or hose is replaced the system is not drained completely, and one or two bottles are often enough. One bottle makes 7.5 litres at 50/50.
