Antifreeze for Honda Vezel and HR-V
The Vezel, sold as the HR-V in Europe and the US, has become one of the most popular Japanese imports in Georgia. The hybrid version uses the i-DCD system, which means separate inverter cooling.

Photographs come from the manufacturer's official materials.

Vezel Hybrid and i-DCD
In the i-DCD system the electric motor is built into the transmission, while the power electronics are cooled by a separate circuit. That is one more loop that needs fluid and that nobody notices during a routine “coolant check”.
Honda specifies blue Type 2 for both and explicitly prohibits mixing.
